Alexander Harris
BRACKENSHIRE FARM
BOARD PRESIDENT
Alex and his partner, Rhiannon, run Brackenshire Farm, a small flower and mixed veggie farm in the South Fork Nooksack River Valley. Originally from southern Oregon, Alex and Rhiannon moved to rural Whatcom County in 2019 to get involved in regenerative agriculture and forest conservation.Alex holds a Masters in Environmental Policy from WWU, and has worked for conservation nonprofits for nearly a decade, with a focus on land use, salmon recovery, and climate adaptation policy. In his day job, Alex co-runs Whatcom County’s Conservation Easement Program, which is focused on working with farmers to preserve farmland and promote farmland access.

Cat Sieh
LEGACY LAMB
DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL PROJECTSA vocal community advocate for more than 15 years in Whatcom County, Cat is an experienced community builder who believes that equitable food access can stabilize families, support local farms, and build a healthier, more resilient Whatcom County.
With a background in small business management, community organizing, and journalism, she has been involved with a wide variety of local issues including waterfront development, infill/affordable housing, transportation infrastructure, and LGBTQ+ youth art and music.
Cat also manages a 10-acre north-Bellingham sheep farm and grass-fed lamb business: Legacy Lamb. -

Emily Pittis
MARKET MANAGER
Emily joined the TSM team in 2026 after working as the Gleaning Coordinator for the Bellingham Food Bank, where she grew and harvested produce across Whatcom County. Originally from Bellingham, she studied and farmed in Montana before returning home to continue her work in the local food movement.
Emily loves being outside — running mountain trails, searching for owls, and growing flowers with her mom — and is excited to help strengthen local food access and community connections.

Grant McMeekin
BOARD TREASURER
Grant — a Birchwood resident and board member of the Birchwood Neighborhood Association, and Park Steward for Storybrook Park — is a passionate member of the community. Grant brings his educational background in psychology and his professional experience with business management to his current role as Treasurer for Twin Sisters Mobile Market.
Grant believes in the transformative capabilities local organizations can bring to communities and is dedicated to fostering connections that grow communities to be more interconnected and robust.

Em Blood
SONDER FARMSTEAD
BOARD MEMBER
Em is a first-generation farmer and Whatcom County transplant from Maine. Em joined Twin Sisters Mobile Market as a farmer member in 2022 — her first growing season as a farm owner. Her farm, Sonder Farmstead, provides organic vegetables and beautiful handcrafted soaps for the markets.Em is committed to being actively involved involved in Whatcom County’s farming community and better understanding how to help underserved residents get access to healthy, affordable food.

Dana Goodwin
GOOD WINS HR
BOARD MEMBERDana Goodwin is the owner of Good Wins HR, an HR consulting agency that partners with small, values-driven businesses to build strong people strategies. Before moving into HR, Dana worked in the sustainable food industry, including managing one of New York City’s busiest nose-to-tail butcher shops. She holds a master’s degree from Slow Food’s University of Gastronomic Sciences (UNISG).
Originally from Bellingham, Dana recently returned to the area after over a decade on the East Coast. She now lives in South Bellingham with her husband, two children, and their dog, George.

Chris Henderson
SMALL ACRES FARM
EMERITUS BOARD MEMBER
Chris, a founding member of Twin Sisters Mobile Market, has been an integral part of the organization both behind-the-scenes and as an East County farmer member.An energy resource specialists by trade, Chris and his partner also operate Small Acres, their 5-acre, certified Organic farm, which provides fresh fruits, veggies, and ferments to the markets.
Chris uses his passion for data collection and his spreadsheet skills to keep track of market finances and inventory.

Sami Burse
BROOMSTICK FARM
BOARD MEMBERSami is the co-owner of Broomstick Farm, a small-scale, organic farm in Bow and a Twin Sisters Mobile Market farm member. Sami is also a teacher at Lummi Nation School. Passionate about both education and sustainable agriculture, they balance working the land with fostering learning in the classroom.
At Broomstick Farm, they specialize in growing vibrant peppers and flavorful garlic. Their farm is rooted in a commitment to sustainability, food access, and community engagement, bringing high-quality produce to local markets, producers, and restaurants.
As a teacher at Lummi Nation School, Sami weaves their passion for farming into their teaching, supporting students to connect with the land, traditional foodways, and learn the importance of sustainability. Whether in the classroom or on the farm, they are dedicated to nurturing curiosity, resilience, and a respect for the environment.

Jackie Rosborough
BOARD MEMBER
Jackie's training as an architect, paired with a deep love for growing and sharing food, has led her to farming or farm-related design work throughout her education and career. She currently splits her time between working at Empyrean Farm in Kendall, and designing residential architecture with Steele Design as well as design/fabrication with Tilt Shift in Bellingham.
Since farming during her studies at Rural Studio in Alabama, she has worked to combine her interests of design and growing food in her life in varying forms. Prior to living in Whatcom County, she lived in Vancouver, BC, working in architecture with a focus on agricultural and food infrastructure. Jackie's exposure to the food and farming world through design enables her to think through problems with a unique lens, often zooming out to see the system as whole.

Arden Riseborough
BOARD MEMBER
Arden is part owner and full-time farmer at Wild Mountain Farm. Offering sustainable, seasonal vegetables and eggs to Whatcom County. She has lived in Bellingham for the past eight years after immigrating from the UK. Inspired and awed by the beauty that engulfs this part of the states, she’s dedicated her time to growing food in harmony with the natural world.Arden has joined the board this year to help provide more local people with access to high quality food. With a farmer's perspective and work ethic, she’s committed to helping Twin Sisters Market continue its vital work for the community.
