Cat Sieh
LEGACY LAMB
EXECUTIVE DIRECTORA vocal community advocate for more than 15 years in Whatcom County, Cat is an experienced community builder who believes that equitable food access can stabilize families, support local farms, and build a healthier, more resilient Whatcom County.
With a background in small business management, community organizing, and journalism, she has been involved with a wide variety of local issues including waterfront development, infill/affordable housing, transportation infrastructure, and LGBTQ+ youth art and music programming.
Cat also manages a 10-acre north-Bellingham sheep farm and grass-fed lamb business: Legacy Lamb. -
Kether Scharff-Gray

Kether — a Birchwood resident and Birchwood Market regular — brings to Twin Sisters Markets a deep commitment to building stronger food systems, supply chains, and the relationships that tie it all together.Kether started her Bellingham tenure in 2011 and has worked for the past 12 years in a variety of roles in regional food systems from front of house at bars and restaurants, to supply chain development and management for a high-growth, Bellingham-based meal kit delivery service, to operations consulting directly with Whatcom and Skagit county farmers. Presently she is the COO of Walla Walla-based craft malthouse, Mainstem Malt.

Em is a first-generation farmer and recent Whatcom County transplant from Maine. Em joined TSM as a farmer member in 2022 — her first growing season as a farm owner. Her farm, Sonder Farmstead + Apothecary, provides organic vegetables and beautiful handcrafted soaps for the markets.Em is committed to being actively involved involved in Whatcom County’s farming community and better understanding how to help underserved residents get access to healthy, affordable food.

RACHEL WOOD
CLOUD MOUNTAIN FARM CENTER

Rachel pursued a Food Systems degree to better understand the complexity of food and agriculture in our society. After working on an organic market farm in Pennsylvania, she went on to work at various ag-related organizations before moving to Washington and supporting programming and development at Viva Farms.
There, she strengthened her skills in grant writing and management, volunteer programming, and community outreach. After a "sabbatical" in the conservation corps gaining valuable habitat restoration, conservation, and leadership experience, Rachel returned to the food and ag sphere joining the nursery team at Cloud Mountain Farm Center. As part of the Cloud Mountain team, She is constantly seeking ways to support local farmers and hobbyists in their fruit-growing endeavors. -
ALEXANDER HARRIS

Alex and his partner, Rhiannon, run Brackenshire Farm, a small flower and mixed veggie farm in the South Fork Nooksack River Valley.
Originally from southern Oregon, Alex and Rhiannon moved to rural Whatcom County in 2019 to get involved in regenerative agriculture and forest conservation. Alex completed a graduate program in Environmental Policy at WWU in 2022, where his research focused on how community-driven forest stewardship can help restore the Nooksack watershed.
Alex has worked for conservation nonprofits for nearly a decade, with a focus on ecological forest management, salmon recovery, and climate adaptation policy. Currently, he is the Land & Water Policy Manager at RE Sources, where he advocates for sustainable land uses that restore salmon habitat and build watershed resilience. -
Chris Henderson

Chris, a founding member of Twin Sisters Markets, has been an integral part of the organization both behind-the-scenes and as an East County farmer member.An energy resource specialists by trade, Chris and his partner also operate Small Acres, their 5-acre, certified organic farm, which provides fresh fruits, veggies, and ferments to the markets.
Chris uses his passion for data collection and his spreadsheet skills to keep track of market finances and inventory, and you can find him working the markets every summer.

KENDALL DODD

Kendall has been passionate about connecting with people through food and (urban) farming for more than 25 years.
Kendall moved to Bellingham in 2006, and settled in the Sunnyland neighborhood where she and her partner grow a small-but-mighty annual vegetable garden, steward an orchard of 13 fruit trees and tend to a flock of 6 laying hens.
Kendall has experience working at non-profit organizations, coordinating community projects and volunteering on various boards. At TSM, she contributes to both long-range planning and day-to-day operational and organizational effectiveness. -
SIERRA WATSON
NORTH FORK BREWERY

Sierra has extensive experience in landscaping, farming, gardening, and selling edible and ornamental plants at farmers markets and CSA programs. A longtime resident of East Whatcom County, Sierra values small local businesses that build community through service and infrastructure — improving our community members’ quality of life.Sierra earned her BA from WWU Fairhaven, where she was inspired to learn how to help others navigate larger systems — for example, working with children in public education as a substitute para-educator for the Mt Baker School District.
